If the first volume wasn’t enough, this sequel delivers even more full length, blooper-and-all demonstrations from celebrity musicians at the UK Museum Of Synthesizer Technology. These machines include Yamaha CS-80s, Roland VP330 Vocoders, Memorymoogs, PPG Wave 2.3s and Waveterm Bs as well as Julian Colbeck (founder of KEYFAX NewMedia) playing ARP Odysseys and MiniMoogs!
After losing their techno-savant guitarist Jake Fairley to Cologne, vocalist Ian Worang decided to reform Uncutheaven as a traditional quartet, ditching their computer-based origins in favor of jagged guitars and floating withdrawal from post-punk music. Critics may make comparisons between this effort and Interpol’s debut, yet this version stands up better overall and Uncutheaven provides an enjoyable albeit flawed return to form.
