Adjust the compressor with its Attack and Release knobs; chorus features its own Rhythm and Speed controls while distortion offers your standard solid state grind. Axl Contributes to Metastasis in HER2+ Breast Cancer Model

Hypoxia causes cancer cells to secrete various chemokines and cytokines that alter the tumor microenvironment (TME), suppress immune surveillance, and promote metastasis (10-12). Multiplex RNA-seq analysis demonstrated that Axl WT cells under hypoxia produced significantly greater amounts of C-C motif chemokine ligand 2 (Ccl2) and colony stimulating factor 1 and 2 (Csf1 and Cxcl1) than control cells (SI Appendix, Fig S7A).

Axl works to maintain hypoxic Hif-1 expression by stimulating phosphorylation of its downstream targets including Akt and ERK kinases. Furthermore, Axl is required for hypoxia-induced expression of a chemokine receptor that binds HIF-1 and drives tissue remodeling via TME remodeling.
