Investigators have taken another step toward identifying the mother and toddler whose dismembered remains were discovered along Ocean Parkway between 2010 and 2011 as part of what became known as the Long Island Serial Killer investigation. Peaches is Baby Doe has now been made public following inquiries by filmmakers Josh Zeman and Rachel Mills (The Killing Season documentary series recently shown on A&E) regarding new developments surrounding LISK investigation.

Authorities believe the conditions under which Peaches was dumped, including how her torso and extremities were separated from one another, mirror those seen when 20-year-old sex worker Jessica Taylor and another Jane Doe named No. 6 were dumped, suggesting they may have been victims of one killer who also dumped 10 sets of skeletal remains found on a parkway.
