Glock’s success skyrocketed when it made its first Hollywood appearance, being used by actors in popular TV shows such as Law and Order and Bruce Willis in Die Hard 2. Additionally, the company helped boost Glock’s standing by providing large discounts to police departments that wanted to switch.
