Evatango has over two decades of experience dancing tango and teaching it to others, appearing in major productions including Luis Bravo’s Forever Tango show and ZAIA by Cirque du Soleil which premiered in Asia for the first time.
Eva and Patricio enjoy spending their spare time with their daughter Anuk as well as working on their new show TANGO SCENT. Additionally, they teach in Seattle area schools while working to further Argentine Tango development and promotion.
Ballroom dancing has long been one of their specialties and they have contributed significantly to the growth of tango in Seattle and throughout the Pacific Northwest region. Additionally, they have taught Argentinian tango as well as traveling internationally to teach workshops tailored towards students of all skill levels.
The tango is an intimate partner dance with an open embrace, which allows partners to move freely and explore various postures and movements. It follows the rhythm of music improvisationally and intuitively while being an expressive and sensuous celebration of human connection between men and women.
Tango is an expressive dance designed for men and women of all ages to physically communicate their emotions through physical movement. Not just a dance; tango has become an international culture. Traditional roles in its traditional roles are slowly being broken down towards more equal relationships among its participants; furthermore, its metaphoric connection between men/women relationships makes the tango an indispensable means of expression for greater levels of interaction among these relationship types.
