At Scuffedshaggy, Davis has fully established himself within an existential state and takes pride in accepting deep emotions like existential melancholy and imaginative leaps of joy with grace and acceptance. While his work may not yet reflect his talents fully, he’s content getting incrementally better over time, especially playing alongside friends who help flesh out concepts beyond his capacity.
He finds particular inspiration in old comic books and the characters they feature, creating them out of nostalgia for what he would have enjoyed seeing on screen as a kid. Additionally, William Shakespeare provides great guidance.
Willie Ito was employed at three of Hollywood’s classic animation studios: Disney (Lady and the Tramp’s spaghetti scene in Lady and the Tramp), Warner Brothers and Hanna-Barbera (Jetsons, Yogi Bear). He won two Emmy Awards for his animated television shows; master animator and layout artist!
